Welcome to

Adams Township Volunteer Fire Co.#2.-STATION 84

 ST MICHAEL, PA

The Adams Township Volunteer Fire Co#2-St Michael is located in south central Cambria County, Pennsylvania.  The All-Volunteer Department serves the citizens of Adams Township and parts of Croyle Township. The Fire Company was organized in 1953, to provide Fire Protection to the citizens in Adams and Croyle Townships.  Early protection was provided by the local mining company placing hand carts throughout the communities.  Today, the department's fleet include a Heavy Rescue, Two Engines, Two squad personnel carriers, and an Officer Command Unit.  The Fire Company is Pennsylvania Department of Health QRS (Quick Response Service) certified, and also has many State of Pennsylvania Certified Firefighter I and II firefighters.   The primary coverage area includes many residential communities, several state route roadways, US Highway Rt 219, the home of the Johnstown Flood National Memorial, the main campus of the Forest Hills School District, and several warehousing and manufacturing facilities.  We have an active Ladies Auxiliary that support the activities of the Department, and our succesful fund raisers include Lenten Fish Fries, Cash Bonanza's and the Labor Day Festival.
